Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Fixed monthly journal Entries – preparation and submission in SAP
- IFRS Journals for Monthly and Qtrly Lease Accounting
- Prepare monthly working files for the Rolling/Spot Forex Deals
- Prepare monthly revaluations journals for outstanding Forex Deals
- Review and prepare journals for Petty Cash Claims
- Support in the Month End Close activities & Annual Budget/Forecast
- Ad-hoc Internal Reporting (MCDR, Weekly O&S, Debtors Reporting, etc)
- Manage and update the local fixed assets register in SAP and annual fixed asset counts
- Liase with SSC during transition and support areas that will stay with the business
Taxation
- Prepare monthly Input VAT workings and reconcile all Input VAT GL’s
- Prepare monthly WhT Workings with all supporting documentation
- File Monthly VAT and WhT Returns on ZATCA Portal
- Prepare Annual WhT Working for Annual WhT Return
- Prepare workings for Annual CiT Return for review with FC
- Communicate with ZATCA on both Direct and Indirect related queries in Arabic
- Work with both FC and MA on Tax Audits/Assessment for CiT/VAT/Wht/Customs
Compliance
- Monthly minimum controls assigned specifically as preparer in certain areas
- Preparation of Annual CSA
- Support / Participate in Local Content Evaluation and Audits
- Support / Participate in Annual Statutory Financial Audits
- Support / Participate in Internal Audits
- Support / Participate in Tax Audit Assessments
- Support the Annual Insurance Questionnaire compilation
- Provide periodic information to the Local Statutory Survey Committees in Arabic
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and enhance controls processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with Divisional and Group Resources to develop automated solutions or reporting platform (e.g., Power BI)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Reading, Writing and Speaking Arabic (Native)
- Proven experience (>3 years) in taxation and financial reporting or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of Local Taxation, IFRS, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software, accounting systems (SAP)
- Advanced Excel Knowledge and Power BI
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legal/tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
