Job Description –

In this position, she/he represents the John Crane Group with customers  Center of Italy . The new Area Manager will follow in direct the business with key accounts and will work in strict collaboration and coordination with some multi-firm Agents in charge of the other clients.

This position is preferable based in Livorno or in the center of Italy (home based).

Duties & Responsibilities

What you'll do – 

  • Support clients from technical point of view to find new business opportunities for John Crane benefit
  • Emitting technical and commercial quote to clients
  • Negotiation of the selected opportunities under technical scope of supply, price, delivery date
  • Scout the market for finding new clients
  • Manage problems by being actively involved in the action by the other company departments
  • Promote partnership between John Crane and the assigned accounts by maximizing client satisfactions
  • Appear to client’s eyes as a “problem-solver” and “solution-provider”
  • Work in strict coordination with the assigned Agents and the Service Team
  • Provide forecast about the business evolution with the assigned accounts

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Important experience in Technical Sales, which consequent strategic mindset and negotiation capabilities
  • Commercial mind-set and orientation to new business development
  • High communication skills and easy going personal approach
  • Good knowledge about process industry and rotating equipments coming by previous working experience
  • Enthusiasm for business, endurance, intensity of action
  • Availability to spend in the market field at least 50% of the working time
  • Fluent Italian & English

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Meet stakeholder, customer requirements and needs
  • Prepare reports on project pipeline, competitor activities & main orders
  • Develop an annual Growth plan for assigned markets/customers
  • Increase market share with existing customers           

Languages:            

  • Fluent Italian and English required, written and spoken.
