Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Aftermarket Repair Manager to join the team reporting to the Director, Gas Compression Super hubs. We’re seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the creation of our Refurbishment Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll optimise and standardise processes to re-engineer aftermarket Dry Gas Seals across all service facilities. You’ll not only manage a seamless transition across the UK but also expand this streamlined approach globally. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure our processes comply with legal and IP standards while driving results that exceed customer expectations.

This role is based from our headquarters within Slough working Monday to Friday normal office hours.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Develop and document a standard flow with all associated SOP to manage this process.
  • Continue to develop a database of information required complying with legal and IP requirements.
  • Work with Engineering, Commercial and Operational leads to deliver on time results to the customer.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team.
  • Act as the liaison to the leadership team including Portfolio Director to inform progress, opportunities and roadblocks (including potential solutions).
  • End to end execution of competitive timelines for customer product repair.
  • Identification and removal (and escalation as a last resort) of blockers to the team.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within Dry Gas Seal product knowledge
  • Previous experience within management/ project management
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Able to take accountability and ownership
