Job Description

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Grind & Polish Laborer to join the team. This position is responsible for cleaning, deburring, polishing, grit blasting, and/or grinding manufactured parts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Inspects parts for defects and material handling damage
• Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush, or buffing cloth
• Mounts tools on revolving spindle for abrasive finishing and deburring.
• Holds part against deburring / grinding wheel to deburr tube surfaces or grind weld beads Deburrs or polishes parts
• Uses Flex-hone (Wire-brush) when indicated on operational instructions
• Operates hand held Die-Grinder
• Uses Compressed Air to ensure interior and exterior of parts are blown off after
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
